The German midfielder whose contract with Manchester United will be coming to an end soon is said to be making negotiations concerning his next club as it doesn’t seem to be likely hell be getting his spot back at the English club. The 32-year-old is said to be on the lookout for MLS clubs as he met Chicago Fire coach, Velijko Paunovis over the weekend.

Nigeria’s U-19 Defeated Again

The Nigerian U-19 football team led by Coach Manu Garba has lost their second game in a row as they suffered a 1-0 defeat from Iran. This defeat came after an 8-0 loss to England on Wednesday the 9th of November.


The winning goal from the Iranians came in the 79th minute by the 19 year old forward, Reza Karamolachaab. The Nigerians blamed unfavorable climate conditions and time difference in Korea for their poor performance. They will play their final game in the invitational tournament against hosts South Korea who will also play host to the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The 29-year-old who netted the first goal of the match scored his first senior goal for the La Liga club at the age of 17 in 2005 against Alcabete and has since then has broken the club’s goals scored in official matches record which was formerly held by Cesar Rodriguez, who played for the club in the 1940s and 1950s.
