Lagos State Government Releases Transport Guidelines To Prevent Spread

The Lagos State Ministry of Transportation has announced mandatory guidelines for all stakeholders in the public sector to comply with in order to curtail the widespread.

 

In a statement by the state Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Frederic Oladeinde, released at the weekend, directed that: “All transport operators/companies are expected to sanitize their parks and garages regularly and continuously (at least before and after each trip).”

 

Marouane Fellaini Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Former Manchester United midfielder, Marouane Fellaini, has tested positive for coronavirus. He confirmed his status via Twitter as he hopes "to return to the game as soon as possible".

 

Chinese media reports say Fellaini is in isolation at Jinan hospital, which specialises in infectious diseases. Fellaini, who had recently returned to the country to resume training, is reportedly the only Chinese Super League player to have contracted the illness.

 

Coronavirus: Former Real Madrid President Dies After Testing Positive

Former Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz died on Saturday after testing positive of coronavirus. The 76-year-old was president at the Bernabeu from 1995-2000, a period in which Real won the Champions League twice. The news was confirmed by his son, Lorenzo Sanz who played for Real Madrid from 1996-1999 before spending the final seven years of his career at Malaga.

Former England defender, Gary Neville, has decided to open his hotel free of charge to health workers to help battle the growing pandemic disease called coronavirus. His two Manchester hotels will be closed to the public, freeing 176 beds for National Health Service (NHS) and other medical staff.
