The Winihin Jemide Series Legend edition 2016 event took place from the 22nd to the 23th of September at the Campos stadium Onikan. The youth football clinic, facilitated by Peter Rufai and Victor Ikpeba, commenced on the 22nd with 205 teenagers. The participants were taken through various skill development routines in the soccer clinic before being allocated team slots for the Legend youth tournament. The winning teams for the under 15 and the 17 finals were Springcoca FC and RCCG Province 4

respectively.

 

The finals of the youth championship was followed up with an exciting celebrity football match featuring ex Super Eagles players such as Peter Rufai, Victor Ikpeba, Victor Agali, Wayidi Akanni, Jonathan Akpoborie, Godwin Okpara and VS Entertainment Celebrities; Timi, Dakolo, AY the comdeian, Akpororo, Gideon Okeke, Sexy Steel and others.

 

The Legend Edition 2016 concluded on the 24th with a celebration dinner with sponsors, distinguished guests and MVPs from the Legend Youth Tournament at the prestigious Sky Lounge Restaurant - Eko Hotel, Lagos. It was hosted by Chigulrl with a musical performance by Chee Okebalama.
