Nicki Minaj’s charitable reach is going global. The Queen Barb announced via Instagram that she provided the money for two water wells to help bring clean water to India.

Minaj explained she’s been donating to this particular village for a few years and the community now has a computer center, tailoring institute, reading program and the two water wells. Minaj promises her fans they will be able to partner with her soon through an official charity she plans to helm.

“This is the kind of thing that makes me feel the most proud,” she wrote. “The money I’ve sent to this village in India for the last couple years [via my Pastor Lydia Sloley] has gotten them a Computer Center, a Tailoring Institute, a Reading Program and 2 WATER WELLS. We complain about the most ridiculous little things when some ppl don’t even have clean water. Blessings to India. Our work is far from done. I’ll tell you guys more about my charity work in the near future in case you’d like to be a part of it. Love.”

The Young Money rapper then posts a few images of the women from the village and expresses her joy in partnering with them to improve the community.

“I’m so proud of our sisters in India,” she captioned the photo. “God is so good.”

Early this month, Minaj helped pay off student loans and tuition fees for a handful of fans on Twitter as well. She assured people it was not a one-time deal, and added she hopes to help more fans with their educational expenses soon.
