Katy Perry took time out from her Australian tour to pay a surprise visit to a young fan recovering from brain surgery. The 33 year old American pop superstar stopped by to visit eight year old Grace Moores, who missed her hero’s concert in Adelaide after doctors removed a 6cm tumor. Her 16 year old sister, Tiana tweeted that Grace had been looking forward to the concert before she was diagnosed in April. Katy's team got in touch with Tiana and went round on Tuesday before her concert in Adelaide that night. Tiana shared clips on Snapchat of Katy hanging out with the family.
Video on Facebook shows Perry playing with the family dog and singing her songs "Chained to the Rhythm" and "Roar." Perry also shared footage on her Instagram story of Moores and her sister modeling tour merchandise. Katy asked Grace to name her three favourite songs, and then performed an acoustic set for her with two guitarists. She sang Roar, which is Grace's all-time favourite, Firework and Chained to the Rhythm.
