Justin Bieber is reportedly being sued for $100,000 (£69,000) over claims he smashed up a phone. The singer's been accused of destroying Robert Earl Morgan's mobile after he apparently tried to record Bieber attempting to down a beer bong. The incident allegedly took place at Cle nightclub in Texas last month. According to TMZ, Justin became "enraged, grabbed his [Earl Morgan's] phone and smashed it to pieces". Smartphones don't cost $100,000. But it's thought he's being sued for such a large sum because the phone contained pictures which are "impossible to replace", including images of his grandmother's 100th birthday party. Morgan also claims he lost a number of business contacts.

Bieber has yet to comment on the allegations. "Phonegate" is believed to have happened on the same evening Justin was spotted stubbing a cigarette out on the arm of Post Malone, who has been supporting him on Purpose world tour. Pictures emerged days later seemingly showing Malone reaching an arm out and grabbing the Canadian pop star by the throat. The rapper later said that they were just messing around. He tweeted: "If we was fighting someone would have done something instead of just sit around while the beibs gets chokeslammed.
"He's my big brother and we like to rough house. I love Justin y'all tripping lol."
