The  Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 has extended the lockdown ease by another four weeks and lifted the ban placed on interstate travels with effect from July 1, provided such journeys are made outside curfew hours.


The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, who disclosed this at the daily briefing in Abuja said the Mr President also approved the safe resumption of domestic flights in the country when practicable.


He disclosed that final year students will now be allowed to go back to classes as part of the latest recommendations contained in the task force’s fifth interim report which was submitted to President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday.


Our Correspondent, Raliat Adenekan reports that the National Coordinator of the PTF on Covid-19, Dr Sani Aliyu, clarified that all primary schools, daycare and entertainment sports centres across the Federation remained closed.
